Jose Aranda studied with Antonio Saura in Madrid and has exhibited in Paris, New York, Chicago, Madrid and Europe and Asia.
His work is represented in museums around the world.
He is an author of successful books such as dark mountain, based on his experiences in the Zapatista guerrillas of Mexico , the country in which he exhibited at the Museo Leon Trotsky and Iztapalapa Cultural Center, and his daily travels to Ethiopia and Eritrea.
He was the author of the first biography of the Spaniard sentenced to death, Joaquin Jose Martinez, US.
